We are delighted to be able to confirm the details of our exclusive April event. A private tour of The Royal Engineers Museum in Chatham and we hope that you can join us.
Hilary Wight to welcome us and give us a talk on ‘Royal Engineers and the River Medway’ which will be delivered in the Field Marshals’ Room. She will then give us a brief introduction to the Museum and we will then have around 45 minutes of exclusive access for a self guided tour.
We will then make the short journey to The Ship and Trade for a two course supper. There will be a PAYG bar.
The evenings timings are below:
17:45. Meet at the Royal Engineers Museum, Prince Arthur Road, Gillingham ME4 4UG. There is plenty of parking
18:00 Hilary Wight will a give a talk ‘ Royal Engineers and the River Medway’ . The talk will last approximately 45 minutes and will be delivered in the Field Marshals’ Room.
18:45. Hilary will give a quick introduction to the Museum which would then allow us to spend 45 minutes on a self-guided tour of the Museum.
19:30. We leave and drive to the Ship and Trades Maritime Way Chatham Maritime Chatham ME4 3ER
Tickets are £40 per person.
